My oh my

It's April! I should be excited for pretty spring weather right? It's snowing. I'm trying not to complain but the week before this one was BEAUTIFUL. I only mind because the weather keeps changing ITS mind and its making me lose MY mind! Did that even make sense? I dunno. But hey! I got a new roomy and I have still been busy with rehearsing for Sleeping Beauty! I got bumped a roll because my friend tore her ACL and so now I am a fairy. I am sad because I really wanted my other role but I'll be dancing more in this newer roll so I will try and be happy about it. I am now the Fairy of Justice. Come to my show May 19, 20, 21 at Sandy Amphitheater!!! Come come come come come! PLEASE!

My new roomie is Anela, look at the new and improved A-108 clan! Annie has the red belt.

I've had a lot of fun the past semester. A group of us went to Rock the U (a dance party for Cancer) it goes all night long but I didn't stay that long. They gave you free food (Spaghetti Factory, Chick-Fil-A), free cotton candy, free spray tats, and face painting! I relived childhood AGAIN! YES! After, we had a fun slumber party/movie night in our T.V. room afterwords. So fun being a college student!

Spring Break happened too! My friend Kelli came out for a few days. SO nice to relax in the sunshine, shop, have a QT taquito and slush, have Peanut Butter Snicker roasted Mallows, and have fun with my best friends! We saw a free concert at ASU and saw bands like Skillet, and The Band Perry! I also saw Alex's MCC dance show! She has amazing choreography and she dances so well. I idol my BFF. My mom made me take a picture by myself on the Harley. It would obviously never look anything like THAT if I drove that. I love motorcycle rides on my dads new ride!

End of Sophomore year is so close but yet SOOOO far away (3 more weeks). I don't know who I'm kidding though, I start summer term about a week after anyways, but still, at least I will only be taking two classes, and they are over and done June 22. I just gotta stick it out if I want to be done with college sooner you know? Until I get more time to blog about my present life, here is what I can look forward to the day my summer classes are over and I can finally have a break:

#1 NEW YORK!!!!!

I can't wait. Even thinking about it gives me the wiggles. I want to get an

shirt actually from NY,

I wanna ride a Taxi in NYC (I need to learn to whistle first), I wanna shop, I wanna meet a handsome boy on the top of the Empire State Building:

I wanna see a Broadway show, I wanna eat food, I wanna see American Ballet Theater,
I wanna see this:

What is it really? I wanna see it!

I WANT I WANT I WANT!!! Daddy daddy PLEAAAASSSEE?!?!?!

But seriously...

#2 Palmyra AKA CHURCH SITES! WOO HOO!

Can't wait to be in all the places I've heard about in church my whole life.

That seems really vague after my last rant (see #1) but I really am way excited. For reals.

#3 Niagara Falls. I'm not settling for the American side. If I'm gonna see it, I WILL see the cooler side.

#4 Harry Potter Marathon at Thanksgiving Point (if you try and contact me any time on July 14, I will be unavailable). My whole childhood will be coming to a close this day because the last, I repeat, THE LAST Harry Potter Movie will be coming on midnight of July 15.

AND FINALLY, AT MIDNIGHT:

This day will be an emotional one for me. I don't even care if you think I'm a nerd. I will admit to the fact that

Til the day I die. Amen.

March Already?!?

Ok so where did January and February go? I have some serious catching up to do!!! Sorry that I rarely have enough time to keep you updated!

"Let's get down to the neety greety"- Nacho Libre. Starting with January...was that really two months ago? sheeeeesh.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!! Not only did I have a FABULOUS 20th birthday party thrown at my sister Leslie's house with some friends and family, I got the opportunity to see my choreography come to life at the University of Utah Ballet Showcase. I asked girls throughout my department (most of them in my class) to dance for me in January's performance. It was a little nerve racking because it was my first time doing choreography for girls that are just as good or better than I am. We had to show certain faculty members our pieces before we actually knew if we were in the show or not. I was so worried when my piece was being viewed by the faculty but they said that they liked my choreography and wanted it in the show! WOO HOO! After hours of rehearsals and stress finding costumes my piece was staged. I also got to work with professionals when it came to lighting. I was so worried my lights were going to be a complete DUD because I really had no idea what lighting to do where. The lighting director helped me out with giving his input and he ended up giving me GREAT ideas. Good thing I'm taking a lighting class next semester! All in all my girls did FANTASTIC, and it was a really awesome "no longer a teen" birthday present. Come to my next show in the fall! I hope it will be as good or better than my last piece! Oh and I danced in two pieces as well... Let's just say that I am glad I am going into the teaching emphasis because although I love to perform, it was so much more of a thrill watching my girls tear it up on the stage!

Everytime I see this cake, it makes me that much more excited for my next birthday. Those candles are adding up!! It is so weird saying, "I'm 20, you?"

We're just sisters that's all. Thanks for the smashing party Rachie and Les!

BUNCO winners!!!

Lovely Ladies who performed in my piece! The girl in the middle had to dance in the dance right before my piece so she is wearing her other costume. Don't they look SO SASSY?! yeah. They do.

As for February:

HAPPY ONE YEAR WILLIE!!!!! February 10th was William's 1 year out on the field mark and I am so happy for him!! Sorry but this is gonna start getting a little gushy so read it if you will.. Don't say i didn't warn you.

February is a HUGE month for me. Let me just add that Willie and I had our first date on Valentines Day when we were Seniors in High School. If he wasn't a missionary right now, then technically we would have been together for exactly 2 years now (you are allowed to sigh, it's ok). Yes, we broke up and didn't make promises of the future before he left on his mission, but I still care for him very much and hear from him every few months. I know that I am not his first priority, and that he is a very focused missionary. That being said, who knows if he is really the one for me or vice versa. But as of now, let's be honest, I'm not entirely sure if I'll be able to make ANY decisions until he gets home unless I know for a fact he isn't the one for me. I miss him like CRAZY but I can't jump to conclusions cause you just NEVER KNOW. You know?

Anywho, sorry about the lovey doveyness but I just needed to get that out to shout out his 1 year mark! 1 down, 1 to go, awesome work Willie!

Also, the end of February was great because I got presidents day off of school. I wanted to go visit my cute grama in St. George. I brought my friend Saje to drive 4 hours to her home to stay for a few days! It was fun just hanging out, shopping, seeing the Temple, and renting movies every night. We even played games with a few of her girl friends in her community and it was one of the funniest moments of my life. Old people are just so silly! I'm addicted to Mexican Train because of those ladies! Thanks for coming Saje and thanks for letting us stay Grama!

March Madness:
I start Sleeping Beauty rehearsals with Mountain West Ballet. I got the part of Little Red Riding Hood! Yes, the ballet is different from the Disney movie. Red comes in at the princesses wedding at the end and dances with the Big Bad Wolf. I saw Ballet West perform Sleeping Beauty last month and it was actually a really cute part. I'm pretty excited! Also, it is almost Spring Break. I am going somewhere where the sun shines without fail most of the week. ARIZONA HERE I COME. Utah weather is so bipolar! Yesterday was rainy/snowy/sunny and today I drove home from school with the windows down because it was so nice out! I have to get some tests and papers out of the way and then Spring Break should be a nice get away! k bye!

Happiest Christmas on Earth

PREPARE FOR THE LONGEST POST OF YOUR LIFE!!! Sorry I don't keep up to date with my blog but at least my new posts have tons to look at!

P.S. this is my third year anniversary of breaking my Femur! Yes it taught me a lot and I have had many great experiences following, but I sure hope it never happens again. But that's besides the point...

Christmas Break was a successful one! I really lucked out this year in the Finals category. I did not have any test finals to take the week of finals so I got to start my Christmas Break a week early! After figuring out this information, and telling my mom, she figured that I might as well go with her and my dad to Disney World in Orlando, Florida to meet up with my brother Erik. Erik was taking his wife and kids there for a Christmas Vacay and invited my parents who invited me. Last time I went to Disney World was a little over 10 years ago. My dad and sister in-law planned the whole thing consisting of a meal plan each day. We stayed in the Contemporary Resort and every park we went to, we could swipe our meal card. We got 2 meals, that included a drink and dessert, and one snack a day (Mickey Mouse ice cream! YES!). It was supposed to be nice in Florida right? Wrong. If it wasn't windy, just a long sleeve shirt would have been fine. But it was way really windy, making it SUPER chilly. Jackets were a necessity at the parks. It is quite alright though, Disney at Christmas time was incredible. I'm the luckiest girl in the world.

-Disney World-
The Christmas lights, fireworks, and Christmas shows were amazing.

-Animal Kingdom-
There was a ride there that was not there last time I went and it was called Everest. The ride was pretty much a way scarier version of the Matterhorn at Disney Land in CA. I get really sick on rides that go backwards for more than 2 seconds. I had heard this one went backwards too so I was opting out of the Everest ride. Erik and Amy told me that it wasn't too bad and that I could handle it because it only goes backwards for a little bit. So I gave it a chance. It was a fun ride until the backwards part, (which was a little more than a little bit of riding backwards). The rest of the ride consisted of taking constant deep breaths to hold in my lunch. My dad and I were both not feeling too good after Everest, so we went back to the Resort and slept until dinner. Dinner was with Mickey Mouse, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto. I have never gotten a picture with Mickey at Disney before in my LIFE. I can't help to think that every time I see a Disney commercial it always ends with the family seeing Mickey so, I finally got an epic Mickey picture!

-Epcot-
Lunch in Germany dinner in Japan! So delicious. Epcot is so relaxing. Also, the ball ride (I'm not exactly sure if that name is appropriate but I'm not sure what it is really called) was a lot more fun than usual! It takes your picture at the beginning of the ride now, and you have to select options on a touch screen computer like; if you are a male or female and what language you want. After it carries you through the beginning and middle of life on earth, it has a survey on the screen that asks about 10 questions about your life. Then, it generates pictures and a video of what your future should be like, and you can email it to yourself! It was way funny.

"Gerrr-man-y"

-Hollywood Studios-
Yes we went on Rockin' Roller Coaster. The ride is inside, glow in the dark, with music blaring in your ears the WHOLE time. When we came 10 years ago my sister Leslie and I had fast passes and we went twice in a row and only felt a little sick after. I went just once this time and wondered how I managed going twice in a row. Still, awesome ride.

When we had dinner with Cinderella, I met the Prince. He looks a bit too old for me, or Cinderella for that matter. But still...

Thanks for the good times Disney World!

Now on to the Az portion of my Christmas adventures... The whole Fam was here this Christmas! Talk about crazy and hectic. My dad bought all of the girls pedicures, we all went bowling, and ATE ATE ATE ATE ATE.

When it was Ginger Bread House time, my sister Rachel and I took gold medals. Check out our amazing Hogwarts Express! My brother was jealous so he helped us out a little bit. He made Hedwig in her cage, and Harry Ron and Hermione. Notice the platform wall, Draco and the Weasley twins in the train. This was a work in progress.

Highlight of every trip home always has something to do with my best friends! DUH. This New Years eve was so fun being with them after playing Bunco with the Fam. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Would you look at this cute gang? Sheeeesh!

Ever since our onesie adventure last year, we now call it tradition to have a girls night in our onesies. This girls night we went crazy.... and by crazy I mean dying our hair purple. Ok not all of it, just the bottom. We're sassy.

Don't worry mom, it's just a tint in my hair. You can hardly tell I even did anything. It was all for the thrill of it :)

You can kind of see it here...

We call this one the, "Everyone Do the best Tower of Terror Face You Can" picture. We thought of it because having all three of us on the porch swing could have resulted in a real Tower of Terror face. So just in case we didn't capture the real thing, we did a practice round. The swing never fell WEW! But this picture is CLASSIC.

It seems as though I always end my posts with this quote, "Do I have to go back to school?" I'll answer that myself...
BUT here are some things that I have to look forward to:
*Losing weight (Disney/Christmas treats aren't that great on a ballet body..)
*I only have one more semester as a sophomore at the U
*My Choreography in the Ballet Showcase (Jan 20,21,22 if you wish to come)
*Willie's 1 year mark!! (treatin' myself to something sweet ;) duh)
*After Junior Year, I will only have ballet classes Senior Year. Then I'M DONE WITH SCHOOL FOREVERRRRRR!
*This summer: Harry Potter Marathon (including midnight showing!), reading the Eragon Trilogy, tanning, Wii, teaching, dancing, and school (wait, I'm not looking forward to that last one). Hopefully the summer is as successful as I hope it's going to be.
****PLEASE PRAY THAT I PASS MY CLASSES******

If I don't pass, my plans of finishing college in 2 more years are diminished.

Amen.
